Palm Beach Behavioral Health & Wellness works in collaboration with local facilities to provide psychology pre-doctoral internship positions. Internships focus on individual, family, and group therapy, in addition to psychological and psycho-educational testing.
Interns at PBBHW carry a supervised caseload that blends individual, family, and group therapy with psychological and psycho-educational testing across the lifespan. The caseload is scaled to each intern’s training year and shaped around the presenting concerns we see most often: anxiety and OCD, trauma, autism spectrum disorder, executive-function and learning differences, and mood concerns.
Interns receive weekly individual and group supervision from independently licensed psychologists and participate in weekly case conferences and didactic seminars. Group supervision is structured as a peer-consultation forum alongside our post-doctoral residents and practicum students.
Applicants from APA-accredited programs with a strong interest in evidence-based practice and interdisciplinary collaboration are encouraged to inquire. Internship openings are announced to partner programs as they become available; the Training Director can be reached at [email protected].
