About Amber Snedden

Dr. Amber Snedden provides both in-person and virtual individual and family therapy for children and adolescents. She holds certification as a Parent-Child Interaction Therapist (PCIT) and delivers virtual PCIT services to families with children ages two through seven, as well as families with children experiencing developmental delays, compliance, and behavioral difficulties. She also conducts psychological assessments addressing a range of presenting problems and specializes in neurodevelopmental evaluation.

Dr. Snedden employs an integrative therapeutic approach emphasizing behavioral and family systems theories. She values collaborative partnerships with families and parents, providing intervention, psychoeducation, resources, and support. Dr. Snedden believes growth and change occur when the entire family system is committed to treatment.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Loyola University, followed by a master's degree and doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She completed her PCIT certification in 2024.
